Hommel - Epinette

In 2025, I started building my own hommel. The result was three prototypes.

One hommel to be played with the fingers, one hommel to be played in the traditional way with a stick, and one instrument with ten bourdons. This last version allows the player to play additional harmonies.

Each instrument in the series of prototypes has a full chromatic key. A traditional diatonic key is also possible, or a standard chromatic key.

The instruments are equipped with a K&K twinspot for sound amplification.
